1. Introduction
This Master Privacy Policy applies to all mobile applications ("Apps") and associated landing pages developed and published by AXOS ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how your data is handled.
Our Apps are designed to be used without requiring you to create a user account. We do not manually collect, request, or store personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
2. Information We Process
Because we do not use an account system, any data processed is limited to device-level telemetry, advertising identifiers, and anonymous subscription statuses handled automatically by our trusted third-party service providers and your device’s operating system.
When you use our Apps, the following types of data may be processed:
- Advertising Identifiers: Apple’s Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or Google’s Advertising ID (GAID) for serving personalized or non-personalized ads.
- Device Information: Operating system version, device model, language settings, and IP address (for localized ad delivery and analytics).
- Purchase Data: Anonymous purchase history and subscription status (e.g., whether you have an active premium subscription). We never have access to your credit card or payment details.
3. Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on industry-standard third-party services to operate, monetize, and maintain our Apps. These providers act as data processors or independent controllers:
- Google AdMob: We use AdMob to serve advertisements in some of our Apps. AdMob may collect and process your device's advertising identifiers and IP address to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.
- RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions across iOS and Android. RevenueCat assigns an anonymous App User ID to your device to validate purchase receipts with Apple and Google and to unlock premium features. RevenueCat does not collect your personal identity.
- Apple (App Store) & Google (Play Store): All payment processing is handled strictly by Apple and Google. We do not process or store payment information.
4. Consent and Ad Tracking
We comply with global privacy frameworks and platform guidelines regarding user consent:
- Consent Management Platform (CMP): For users in applicable regions, we use the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to gather and manage your consent preferences regarding data collection for advertising purposes. You will see a consent popup upon launching an ad-supported App.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): On iOS devices, we will request your permission via Apple’s ATT framework before tracking your activity across other companies’ apps and websites for targeted advertising.
- Managing Consent: You can revoke or modify your consent at any time through your device settings (e.g., "Allow Apps to Request to Track" on iOS, or "Delete advertising ID" on Android) or via the privacy settings within our Apps.
5. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)
Depending on your location, you have specific rights regarding your data:
- European Economic Area (EEA) & UK Users (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, and the right to object to or restrict processing. Because we do not hold personal data linking to your real-world identity, the primary way to exercise your rights is to withdraw your consent via the Google UMP settings in the App or by resetting your device's advertising identifier.
- California Users (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what data is collected, the right to request deletion, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can exercise your "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" right by declining ad tracking via the Google UMP prompt or your OS-level privacy settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain anonymous device and subscription data only for as long as necessary to provide the App's functionality, maintain your subscription access, and comply with legal obligations. Because we do not maintain accounts, deleting the App from your device will effectively cease any ongoing data collection.
